Haggus wanted to feel like he did something important for Ireland so he asked Tomas to go into town and sign him up for any military service.So he did, Tomas was about to sign Haggus up for the KKK, when he saw someone hiring for Hitler's army he decided that would be just enough to ruin Haggus for a lifetime. So he did. After Haggus was given the directions to HQ but when he got there and discovered it was Germany and he was in Hitler's army he tried to escape. But there were to many guards, even his powers couldn't get out.So he stayed and served under Hitler and eventually came to be known as General Chan.He kept a record for every Jew he killed. he killed 17 men.Imprisoned/Raped/Killed women-12. 2 children shot.He only did it under orders.From the time the war was over, he has spent the rest of his life in regret. He tries to forget but he knows that was never possible. When he got to Britain he faked his death and ran back to Ireland.When he was in Hitler's army he came to know a surgeon named Dr.Morgan Cable. They became great friends after a while. and she taught him to speak fluent German.
